In at least one paragraph, discuss your takeaways from this course. What new learning transpired for you in this course? What will you carry with you to your current or future classroom?
This course has helped me to reflect on each of my previous courses and has helped connect the dots in the learning that has occurred. This course has pushed me to go back and re-examine my previous assignments to see how I could improve upon them and how I could look at them through a new lens. In my opinion that is what being an educator is all about. As educators we must be able to continually reevaluate and assess things from a new perspective. We should be constantly growing and evolving. I believe that action research is a great way for us to be intentional about reviewing and observing our classrooms, our procedures, and the results so that we can better the way we do things.
In at least one paragraph, discuss how action research can influence educational change within the classroom, district, and nationwide.
I believe action research can influence educational change because it is a reflective way to improve both the teaching and learning process. Processes and procedures are reflected upon and improved upon. Action research allows us to gather data and then put that data together in a way that tells the whole story. Action research helps us to identify the things that arent working or arent affective and allows us to make a change for the better.

My biggest take away from this course is the knowledge gained about a PLC. I was able to really research the topic more depth. In addition to what I researched; my classmates research was very detailed. I will continue to communicate with my fellow educators in the work place. Intentionally contributing to teamwork that will deepen trust and accountability among us.

Action research is a process that is reflective. It creates a collaboration among different parties searching for solutions to real problems in schools. Action research will help educators assist with improving learning instructions as well as students achievement. Addresses issues that are close to the teacher rather than dealing with theoretical issues allow teachers to influence changes. In a nut shell, action research help educators in assessing needs, analyzing data and making decisions that lead to their chosen outcome.
